Collection: Marc Gooderham

Marc Gooderham paints city architecture, particularly old buildings now surrounded by modern development. He finds an attractive melancholy in the overlooked corners of urban landscapes. His images have a cinematic quality; buildings are centre stage. They offer glimpses into empty rooms through curtain-less windows, inviting contemplation. 

Gooderham makes preliminary sketches on location that are then worked into larger paintings in his studio. He is a member of The Society of Graphic Fine Art, and The Pastel Society of America. He has recently exhibited at the Edward Hopper Museum in New York.
