Christines Hodson has a degree in Fine Art from Newcastle University.
She works in mixed media, predominantly using printed collage layers with oil and pastel. She takes elements of street art and punk ethics to create striking, vibrant vistas which turn traditional landscape painting on its head.
Hodson’s inspiration is the surrounding area of her home, particularly the White Cliffs that flank the dramatic shoreline of Kent, and its ever changing scenery. Her work is expressive and emotive, never shy of colour or a bold statement.
After viewing a self-organised group show of her work, Taylor Jones and Son asked if she would become part of the gallery and since then she has quickly become one of our most sought after artists.
