New For April

Ok, so this latest work from Olivier Desvaux has nothing to do with the coast, with landscape, Deal, or any other subject matter that we are best known for as a gallery. But, it is just simply beautiful. How could we not say yes to hosting it. We have two beautiful ballerina pieces to view and a new collection of his continued series exploring stylized, Mediterranean views with his ever present mysterious figures.

La discussion (The Conversation), oil on canvas, 61 x 46cm

Ghost 8, Gary Ray -Smith x Chloe Woods, Acrylic on Board, 69cm x 53cm

Claude DeCrepney continues to be a big hit with our collectors and we have new set of works from artist duo Gary Ray Smith and Chloe Woods in the gallery for April. Enthusiam for these pieces is growing and growing as the French explorer and adventurer continues to conquer hearts.

No Skin In The Game - Pascal Ungerer, oil on canvas, 90 x 90cm

This is by far the largest piece of work we have had from Pascal Ungerer, and the detail this scale allows him to paint at really shows off his skill with light and colour to its best. He is based in Ireland and we remain the only gallery in the UK to show his work but he has recently shown in India where the entire collection was bought by The Public Arts Trust of India! He is also now looking at working with more European galleries. An artist growing in stature.

National Gallery at Night, Marc Gooderham, Charcoal on Paper, 39 x 51cm framed

Marc Gooderham is one of the newest artist in the gallery and his works are proving to be a big hit. He works in charcoal, pastel and acrylic and all are selling well. We have three new pieces in featuring both London and Deal.

Sea Dish 15, Clare Wakfield, Porcelain, 45cm x 10cm

Last but very much not least - we have a new artist joining us. We welcome Clare Wakefield to the gallery. Clare's porcelain vessels are exqusite and eagle eyed collectors have already snapped up some of her pieces from us. She trained in Cardiff, but grew up right here in Kingsdown. She has gone on to exhibit all over the world with several different galleries and art fairs and we are delighted to welcome her back home.
