March New Rleases

Mulligan March - Eight New Pieces

We always love a visit to Mulligan's studio and are delighted with the new pieces we brought back to the gallery. We have four new marble pieces. In the tradition of the great masters, he has managed to make 'Furrow and Fold' look as if it's as soft as putty, rather than carved from Armagh marble.

For those of you familiar with Mulligan's work we've had in before, there are three new variegated pale marble pieces, including a small piece in Turkish Lilac with it's beautiful purple-grey veining.

Ben Fenton 'Bottle Alley' limited edition print

Ben Fenton's Bottle Alley paintings have been very popular and have not only sold out but had a waiting list. This one is our favourite and is now available as a limited edition print.  We use archival inks and a heavy art paper so that the print captures the rich colours and textures of the original painting. The edition is limited to 100 and is numbered and stamped by the artist.

Christine Hodson's  'Walmer Green Shelter'

Famed for her large collages, Christine Hodson has recently been making small studies in oil. This study of the shelter on Walmer Green is new in. Her deft brushwork captures the essence of her subject matter and her colour palette has a pleasing joie-de-vivre.  There is a delightful energy in the work that makes us smile. If you are in need of a pick-me-up, look no further.
