Collection: Berne Vaughan

Berne Vaughan lives and works in East Kent, where he paints in both gouache and oil. He has a first class honours degree in Fine Art from UCA Canterbury and was awarded the Vice Chancellor's Award.

His work has been exhibited at Turner Contemporary Open and featured on Grayson Perry’s Art Club on Channel 4.

Inspired by urban seaside settings, Vaughan uses hard-cut photography to create interesting compositions and narrative, resulting in snapshots that have caught his attention. He finds the extraordinary in the ordinary.
