Prints Please

We’ve enjoyed basking in a lovely run of hot weather here in Deal and it looks set to continue... So why not escape the heat for a few minutes by exploring our downstairs gallery space - everyone remarks how cool it is down there. Both because of the temperature and the art!

At the moment our affordable prints are on show in the grade 2 listed wine vault, which until now has been the sculpture tunnel.  This summer it's the print space, and so this month we thought we’d tell you about some of the fabulous selection on offer.

NEW IN - "42 Degrees in May No.4"

Did you know light has to shine on rain at an angle of 42 degrees to create a rainbow? Richard Taylor-Jones has created a series of photographs as part of his 42 Degrees project to photograph a rainbow in every month of the year. His latest release is "42 Degrees in May No4". This is a limited edition of 50 prints, as against the single edition rainbow prints he creates, and so a more affordable piece to add to your collection.

NEW IN - 'Coming out of the Dark places (Deal Shelter)'

Ben Fenton is one of our newest artists and his work has gone down a storm. A lucky client snapped up his original painting of the shelter on Deal seafront which has been his most sought after piece to date. Due to popular demand he has created a limited edition run of prints of it in two different sizes. The super cute small version is 30 x 30cm framed and the larger one is 55 x 55cm framed. Both editions of 100. These are going to fly we are sure....

A Popular Gallery Favourite - 'Waterslides'

Leigh Mulley’s hyper realistic work totally encompasses the British summertime. We have a selection of her prints in stock. Just take a look at these waterslides, you can almost feel yourself flying down them at top speed. Leigh is currently working her fingers to the bone on a brand new original painting which takes her months to complete, we can’t wait to see what she’s doing.
