2022 - Our Yearly Round Up

Thank You for 2022 and Happy New Year 2023

Roller Coaster

No doubt about it 2022 has been a crazy one. I thought we were coming out of the most impossible two years of a pandemic and looking forward to the world opening up and motoring again. We had taken a huge step expanding the gallery in 2021 and 2022 was the year to get it moving and shaking.

I am pleased to say that indeed the gallery has been doing just that, with our busiest year ever. But all to the back drop of total chaos in our politics, a new war in Europe and soaring inflation. It's been hard to navigate these waters and I feel like we have been on a roller coaster along with everyone else. But we have done well despite it all, and I sit here now, about to shut the door on 2022, and I find myself asking how are we in this fortunate position?

I think Sonja hit the nail on the head the other day whilst chatting with a lovely new client during a painting delivery. In short, it's simple and obvious, we've got great artists.

So I want take a moment to thank not only you, our amazing collectors who never fail to surprise us with your enthusiasm and enjoyment of our gallery, but I also want to say a massive thank you to our artists. Finding the inspiration, determination and skill to consistently produce the incredibly high quality of work they do for us is nothing short of miraculous, and they deserve all their success in 2022 and onwards into 2023.

Wherever you are this evening, what ever you are up to, I hope you have a wonderful evening and I look forward to sharing some exciting new events for next year very soon.
